Testnet Introduction

We plan to conduct two testnets in 2024.

Testnet I is the basic functionality of Leviatom. Users can deploy services on our DeFaaS platform and experience basic blockchain operations. The services include three types: weather forecast retrieval, UTC timestamp retrieval, and blog website setup. Blockchain operations primarily involve transfers and signatures.

During Testnet I, you’ll experience Leviathan’s powerful computational capabilities. We can smoothly migrate traditional Web 2.0 applications to the blockchain.

  • Using on-chain routing contracts, we precisely distribute requested services to the robust DeFaaS off-chain computing platform.

  • Through DeFaaS, we efficiently obtain data, achieve consensus on service responses, and deliver results to users.

  • In the face of sudden traffic spikes, Leviathan can seamlessly utilize backend computing resources to ensure the efficient delivery of services and provide technical support.

In Testnet II, you’ll experience an even more robust parallel transaction processing solution. This is a crucial step toward our parallel chain processing architecture.

Testnet I is already live, and you can access the guide soon.

Testnet II is planned for Q3. Stay tuned!
