What We Do

Scaling through parallel chains and off-chain computation

Scaling has always been a focus of the blockchain industry. Various expansion schemes have emerged, utilizing various technologies, attempting to break the impossible triangle and create a high-performance, decentralized, and scalable blockchain.

Leviatom has proposed a new solution for blockchain scaling.

Parallel chains

Parallel chains in blockchain refer to a structure where multiple chains operate simultaneously.

Unlike the inherent limitations of a serial structure, where block processing must occur sequentially, parallel chains allow for dynamic adjustments in the number of chains based on transaction volume without compromising data consistency. As transaction volumes increase, parallel chains ensure efficient processing performance, mitigating the impact of individual blockchain performance limits.

Overall, the use of multiple parallel chains in a blockchain system provides limitless scalability.

Off-chain computation

By utilizing Leviatom’s Layer 0 capability, native off-chain computation is deeply integrated into the intelligent chain. This integration enables smart contracts to call off-chain microservices for off-chain computation and big data processing, fully leveraging off-chain resources and big data analysis advantages, and completing more complex computing tasks, supporting the deployment of large-scale services.

Off-chain computation is completed based on the DeFaaS platform. The DeFaaS platform is a distributed cloud computing infrastructure that provides powerful, efficient, and fast off-chain computing capabilities. Through the combination of DeFaaS and smart contracts, a fusion smart contract is formed, which greatly improves the computing power and data volume that smart contracts can schedule, achieving blockchain expansion.

At the same time, through the distributed deployment of microservices and the innovative PoET (Proof of Embedded Web-of-Trust) consensus mechanism, the security of distributed off-chain computation is ensured. Decentralization, performance, and scalability are achieved in unison.”

Migrate Web2 applications, enrich decentralized application ecosystem and on-chain native data

Decentralized applications based on blockchain are currently mainly focused on DeFi, NFT, etc. Due to the performance issues of blockchain, more complex decentralized applications and decentralized applications with higher performance requirements have been unable to land, resulting in the inability to attract a wider range of users to participate in the application ecosystem based on blockchain technology.

Leviatom has transformed its technology to support the construction of decentralized microservice ecosystems using multiple development languages, including Java, Python, Go, etc., in order to support the development of more interesting and valuable applications. Based on mature development languages, development ecosystems, and off-chain computing runtime environments, Leviatom helps developers quickly migrate traditional Web2 applications to Leviatom and become decentralized microservices in the Leviatom network.

In the Leviatom network, there are on-chain applications such as DeFi, NFT, RWA, etc. based on smart contracts, as well as a variety of decentralized applications and services such as AI applications, web services, and social services that integrate on-chain and off-chain computing.

A unified trust solution that spans multiple network layers

Asset security issues have always been one of the key factors hindering the development of blockchain. Cross-chain bridges that only connect different blockchains have been invaded multiple times, causing significant security incidents and impacts.

The Leviatom network, based on Trias’ embedded node trust network, enables nodes to trust each other through trusted computing, POET consensus engines, trusted communication, and other technical means, ensuring that all nodes participating in the Leviatom network are trustworthy.

With the underlying trust mechanism, the Layer 0 network built by Leviatom ensures the trusted evaluation and security of network interconnection, providing a “plug-and-play” secure communication mechanism for Layer 1 networks based on the Layer 0 network, eliminating the need to repeatedly develop cross-chain security mechanisms, and providing interconnection, mutual trust, and mutual communication for all services built on the Layer 0 network.”
